Отличное приложение, делает именно то, что нужно.

Recently updated!

I'm very happy to see that the app was recently updated for apple silicon and macOS monterey with added dark mode support! Thank you

Wow! Finally this app got update in 2022!

I thought this amazing already die 5 years ago. Now this app relive again in 2022. So Good!

Perfect

Great little lightweight pomodoro timer to help you stay focused on your work. I've been using this for years and it's always worked exactly as you'd want it to. Love the simple menu bar icon that shows how much time is remaining!

Simple and useful

This does its job and stays out of the way… except when it's noisily getting in your way when you've told it to. The massive pop-over saying to take a break or get back to work is *exactly* what I need to actually do just that. Been using it for years and have never experienced any bugs—it just works.

Minimal, smooth, useful

I love this app because it is pretty, and solid, and does not require much attention from me to get out of it what I need: reminders to stay focused when I’m working and to relax when it’s time for a break. I especially appreciate that it is entirely usable via keyboard shortcuts: you can trigger the popover, start/stop and pause/resume the timer, start/end a break, and even adjust the time, all from the keyboard. It’s perfect!

A perfect little timer

What I like about Tadam is that it encourages good behavior, yet is flexible enough to accomodate different work habits and unexpected interruptions. It does an an excellent job of getting me to take frequent, short breaks. Highly recommended.

Excellent Pomodoro Timer

The UI is clean and simple, and everything works as advertised.

Simplicity done right. Worth the price!

I spent so much time looking for a productivity-minded timer app that I almost wanted to hire a developer to build it for me. As someone who uses computer a lot to work and play, I was looking for one that would blend seamlessly. One that would allow me to track how much time has passed but shown so subtle that it doesn’t distract me, yet allows me to use it easily. Some apps require you to open the whole window just to see how much time has passed or to set new time. It’s an awful experience when I’m in the zone and interrupts my flow - especially if I work the pomodoro way, setting ~25 min production periods and ~5 min pauses. Tadam is perfect because it goes in the background but still has its icon visible in the top bar which animates itself so beautifully that it’s a joy to track. No windows, just a tiny popup with all the options you need for a simple time tracking. I love it and it’s well worth the price because there’s just nothing out there as well as designed as this! (believe me, I design digital products for a living) Highly recommended and supported because it’d be a really sad day for me if this app gets discontinued.

Useless

Useless and overpriced app. Don't even consider to buy it.

Brilliant way to stay focused on your tasks instead of the time

Radek (the designer): Your app has made a fundamental difference in my task management. To be able to see a graphical circle of my time left rather than look at the clock and do the math on time remaining allows my focus to be on my work instead of the time of day while still knowing how fast I need to work. Hats off.

Nice, but too intrusive during breaks

I like Tadam a lot, but when I’m taking a break and checking my email or reading or whatever, the timer disrupts me every 30 seconds by covering the active window. So now I have to find an app that’s less intrusive.

Perfect Simplicity

I’ve tried several apps for Pomodoro and Tadam is the only one that sticks around. It’s a simple, elegant, egg-timer. The break-timer is perfect for my work-cycle and encourages me to stand up and take a break. Yosemite Update: I’m really happy to see that the app creator is maintaining the app and keeping it fresh! Thank you!

thanks for the update

Always loved this little app, and seems pretty neat with this update! Looks coherent with the OS X Yosemite.

Small program with great potential

Please, add the ability to assign hotkeys for “take a break”, “pause”, change time” and “stop timer”. Thanks for your program.

Almost perfect

This app has some great features - it’s functionally simple, stays out of the way, and even offers a fuzzy clock instead of digits for its icon, so as to distract you even less. The only problem is it assumes you want to take a break away from the computer; it pops up a big black window during the “break” period. You can close it, but that stops the timer, leaving you to guess your break time which can kill productivity. If you take your breaks away from the computer, it’s perfect. Everything else is perfect for my use case. Hopefully the developer will add an option to leave the screen unobstructed during “break” time.

A Productivity Tool that is functional and attractive

I hate ugly software! This is simple, elegant, and amazing! It is very basic. Some might want more customization. I have used a tool called "Pomodoro" that was good. However, this has since replaced it. This tool is easy to use and it looks good! I have nothing bad to say about it. The break window does block you from using the web or other computer access. That is what makes it so awesome! Get off your computer! Take a real break! Quit staring at the screen! Do some exercise, draw a picture, listen to music, walk around, whatever! Surfing the web is a terrible way to take a break. This app is awesome. I've installed it on my personal computer and my work computer and it rocks!

Not useful as a Pomodoro timer...

It's just a basic break timer. If you like to to breaks on your computer (like surfing your favorite site) you can't do it with this app. A big black window will pop up in front of your computer. It gives you no option to get rid of it. It also doesn't have automatic cycles like a true Pomodoro. Tadam is too dumbed down with few user options to be useful.

It's Awesome

Tadam is insanely great!

simple, yet elegant

easy to use, easy to configure. great os x style. breaktimer is a good app as well - with a few more features, but doesn't look as nice. tadam does not show up in the dock, while breaktimer can be configured to not show up in the dock. both apps, however, are accessible via the menubar.

Missing basic pomodoro features

This is _almost_ the timer I've been looking for. There are three main things preventing me from using it fulltime for pomodoro: 1) There's no way to automatically start a timer after one has finished. What I'd really like is to have a constant 25 minute work and 5 minute break cycle. With Tadam, I have to click to start the timer when it goes to break, then click to start again when it goes back to work. I find that those actions break up my flow a whole lot more than if it all just automatically started after each other in a recurring cycle, similar to BreakTime. 2) It has no intelligence about when to restart a timer. If I put my computer to sleep then wake it up later, it has the same amount of time left on the timer. Most work timers will reset the counter when it's obvious that you're not actually working (keyboard idle, screensaver came up, locked, went to sleep, etc.). 3) The menu animation is slow to the point of being distracting. Eyecandy is great until it gets in the way of usability. With 1 and 2 sorted out, this would be fantastic. Here's hoping :)

Awesome!

This app is well designed. It works like it says and has a beautiful streamlined interface. In the future I would like to see an option to automatically turn off access to popular social networking sites, as well as an option to turn off all notificaitons from the notification center. Other than that, I highly recomend this app to anyone looking for a productivity timer. The only other review of this product said that it seemed like an app designed by Apple. They're right. The UI is incredible.
